Macro Photography: Flowers

On a seriously cold day, what could be more inspiring than a lovely floral bloom?

It is currently -6 degrees Fahrenheit.  The sky is bright blue and the sun is shining.  I am always amazed by the clearness of the skies on these freezing cold days.  What is more impressive is that the sun is hot enough to begin to melt snow on plowed surfaces and cars.

In any case, enjoy a nice macro flower shot.  The tiny depth of field on this lens (Canon Ultrasonic EF-S 60mm) is awesome for leaving out the snirt (dirt, sand and snow) covered mini van in the background!  Thanks macro lens!

Hey, if you have a macro shot you would love to share, post it in the comments below for some good old fashioned blog lovin’.

Thanks for stopping by!
