She is at it again folks… trying something new and different!
As I journey down this creative road, I am discovering things about myself. I apparently bore easily. I love to learn. I love to share knowledge. I like things I do to have a purpose. Oh, and I like backgrounds. But you may have already known that if you have been hanging out with me for a while.
So my home and “studio” are full of backgrounds (as my oh so patient hubby can attest.) Beautiful colors, full of life, waiting to have some lovely image pulled from them or put on them… but I am realizing that is not my thing. (or at least not yet.)
That is where my perfectionism sets in and where my minds eye and my paintbrush or pencil do not yet meet. It’s barfy really.
So, what purpose then to these beautiful colors and abstract shapes?
Why, jewelry of course!
I created this little beauty and a bunch of others from alcohol ink abstract images on yupo paper.
It’s a one of a kind, wearable piece of art and I love it. They are so cool and so fun and so different.
And, because I have a need to feed my creative attention disorder, you can find this little beauty in my Etsy shop.
Thanks for stopping by!
